I do not have any of the valid IDs. What other forms of
identification are accepted?
No other IDs are accepted, however, you can complete a Candidate
Verification Form (CVF) and present any ID with picture and
signature. You can obtain the form (CVF) from the IDP office,
download it from this page (see right side panel), or from an agent
near you. Read the instructions on before completing the
form, affix two passport photos and identify the third party who
signs the declaration. Once completed, send back to the IDP office
or your chosen agent. Remember, applications without a valid ID or
without the completed Candidate Verification Form will not be
processed.
How can I be sure I am registered to take the test?
You will receive a confirmation letter by mail or during
registration that outlines all relevant details needed for the test
including start times, test venues and speaking schedule.
Otherwise, you will be informed by phone. It is important to
include your present mobile phone on your application form to
ensure you will be reached for any important matters regarding your
test date.
Can I pay in dollars?
We regret being unable to accomodate dollar payments. Our
published fees are in Philippine Pesos. We accept VISA and
Mastercard credit card payments for over the counter
transactions only.
Can I send someone to register on my behalf?
Yes, you can send someone to submit the application on your
behalf provided you have personally completed and signed the form.
Your proxy must bring all requirements including the original valid
ID.
When is the deadline for application?
The test booking application forms will be accepted on a first
come-first served basis. Slots are limited and the registration
will close as soon as the slots are taken or two weeks before the
test whichever comes first. Choice of test dates will be based on
dates indicated on the application form. If both dates are not
available, the candidate will be notified of the next available
date. IDP Education reserves the right to cancel a test session due
to any logistic/operational reason.
I chose the General Training Module in my application, can I
still change it to Academic?
Choosing which module to take is the responsibility of the
candidate. Changing module is allowed as soon as IDP Education
receives the request in writing 3 days before the test date.
I recently got married and want to use my married name but none
of my ID's show this, what do I do?
Female candidates who recently got married will need to submit a
CVF, and an NSO marriage certificate during registration.
What is the minimum age requirement allowed to register for the
test?
On the date of application, the applicant must be at least 16
years of age.
Can I take a break between tests?
A candidate will not be allowed to leave the examination room at
any time. As such, there are no breaks during the test.
Do I need to be in business attire for my interview?
There is no need for business attire during the interview. You
are advised to dress in smart casual clothing and appropriately
considering room temperature which may be cold due to the venue's
central air-conditioning.
Can I get another copy of my results?
Extra personal copies will not be allowed. However, copies of
original valid IELTS results can be sent to recognizing
international agencies/organizations for appropriate purposes.
Payment of fee includes postage and is required before the TRF is
sent. (See rates below)
How will I get my test results?
Under the usual test circumstances, test results are available
for pick up at the IDP Education office to test candidates or their
authorized representative two weeks after the test date. For test
conducted on Saturday, the results will be available starting 2 pm
Friday two weeks after the written test. Tests conducted on
Thursdays will have their results released 2 pm Wednesday two weeks
after the test date. Recipients of test results other than the
candidate (Immigration departments etc) requested on the
application form will be sent copies one week after release of
TRF's.
I passed all other parts of the exam except for speaking. Can I
re-take only one part of the test?
The IELTS sections cannot be
taken separately from one another. You must take the whole test
again. It is also not possible to combine results of two tests to
get a higher score.
How can I have a copy of my Test Report Form sent to
ICHP/CGFNS?
You will have to complete a request form and submit it to IDP
Education office.You can have your results sent with the batch,
which is done every Monday or by individual dispatch where
your TRF will be sent separately via courier. (See rates below)
